In particular, the textile and garment industry has become the only textile and garment industry cluster with more than 10 billion in Xinyang.

On the other hand, the county continued to support and strengthen the weak gluten wheat, rice, fishery, planting and breeding, fishing net weaving, cat's claw grass and other characteristic industries, forming a competitive development pattern of "one Township, one industry, one village, one product" such as Wangdian rice planting and breeding, Maji fishing net weaving, and Jisi Euryale planting. E-commerce has achieved remarkable results in increasing people's income. The per capita disposable income of urban residents and rural residents has increased by 6.49% and 8.9% respectively.
